Wiktoria Grabalska is a member of the Opole Women’s Council.

Wiktoria Grabalska, a lawyer, criminologist, academic and social activist who fights for the rights of women, especially those affected by domestic violence and suicidal crises, has joined the Women’s Council in Opole. A lawyer, criminologist, academic and social activist, she campaigns for the rights of women, particularly those affected by domestic violence and suicidal crises.

As she points out, both at university and in everyday life, she surrounds herself with wonderful women who have dreams, plans and ambitions. Given her considerable knowledge of the law, her socialist principles and her wealth of ideas, the Women’s Council seems an excellent platform for action.

– I want to bring educational projects and promote science,” says Wiktoria Grabalska. – I will focus not only on the criminal topics closest to me, but also on cyber security, data protection and the art of public speaking.

Our academician also wants to reach teenage girls and female students, especially since she is in pedagogical training. She wants to support them, knowing how difficult the school years are and how stressful college can be.

“Mental health and support for individual goals are also my mission,” says Wiktoria Grabalska. “The icing on the cake is my passion for organising events. Well-devised events will benefit the entire local community.”

Victoria Grabalska completed the council, which began its term in September 2024. The body has 20 ladies who represent a variety of backgrounds and age groups. Also associated with the University of Opole are prof. dr hab. Anna Pobóg-Lenartowicz and Alicja Wiśniewska, both from the Institute of History and the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences respectively.

As we read on the czasnaopole.pl website, “The task of the Women’s Council is to support social actions, trainings, debates, conferences and information and educational activities, including social campaigns raising public awareness of women’s rights, as well as cooperation with the Mayor of Opole.”

– Poznałam już zespół Rady Kobiet i stąd wiem, że to będzie niezwykła przygoda, a projekty nietuzinkowe i potrzebne – podkreśla Wiktoria Grabalska.
