Phd. Dariusz Szostek of the UO’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences in an international research team

We are pleased to announce that Dariusz Szostek, Ph.D., UO professor, has joined the international research team at the University “Mediterranea” in Reggio Calabria.

According to strettoweb.com, the study activities, which will last three years, will be led by a network of researchers (teachers, doctoral students, fellows, etc.) from more than fifteen countries, gathered in ten groups, who have already conducted a 30-hour online training course at the advanced level (more than 500 students from 23 different countries have signed up).

The “Mediterranea” research unit, coordinated by Viglianisi Ferraro himself, is certainly the most “international.” Working in it are: Fausto Santos de Morais (director of Aid-IA, Associação Iberoamericana de Direito e Inteligência Artificial), Prof. Dariusz Szostek (recently appointed scientific expert at the European Parliament’s Artificial Intelligence Observatory), Gianluca Lax, Antonia Russo and Alessandro Giglietta from Reggio Emilia, as well as Profs. Eduardo Tomasevicius Filho and Técio Spínola Gomes (Brazil), Nuno Teixeira Castro (Portugal), Tomáš Siviček (Czech Republic), José Antonio Castillo Parrilla (Spain), Antonios Karaiskos (Japan) and Doctors Andres Barrada Cordoba (Colombia), Mark Rovskiy and Sergey Pavlov (Russia).
