Job title: researcher/researcher in the project “Pro-quality evaluation of legal sciences” funded by the MEiN program “Science for society”

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in the social sciences, in the discipline of sociological sciences or related fields;
  • Experience in conducting quantitative research
  • Proven track record of scholarly achievements including broad sociological and legal issues
  • Good knowledge of English, knowledge of German welcome.

Job Description:

  • Conducting a study on defining research quality in the legal sciences by research managers;
  • Analysis of research results of the 2013 and 2016 parametric evaluations and the 2022 evaluation.
  • Participation in other team activities

Type of competition: “Pro-quality evaluation of legal sciences” project implemented within the framework of the MEiN Science for Society program.

Deadline for submission of bids: February 1, 2022, 8:00 pm (CET)

Announcement of results: by February 15, 2022.

Terms of employment:

The winner will receive remuneration under a contract of mandate financed from the funds of the MEiN project “Science for Society” for 12 months

Salary in the project is .

The candidate(s) should submit the following documents:

1) an application addressed to phd. Mark Masnyk, H.M. Rector of the UO for employment under a contract of mandate at the Institute of Legal Studies of the University of Opole within the framework of the project “Pro-quality evaluation of legal sciences”.

2) a statement on the possession of a doctoral degree;

3) CV and list of publications;

4) statement of foreign language skills or certificates or other documents proving the degree of foreign language skills, if the candidate has them;

5) the following statement: “I declare that, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RODO), I consent to the processing of my personal data by the University of Opole, based in Opole, for the purposes necessary for the recruitment process for the position of researcher/researcher in the project “Pro-quality evaluation of legal sciences” implemented within the framework of the MEiN “Science for Society” program ………………………………………………………………………………………… (place and date) (signature of the person making the statement)

Recruitment is a two-stage process and includes:

1) evaluation of the documentation of candidates;

2) interview with selected candidates.

Brief description of the project: the project “Pro-quality evaluation of legal sciences” is funded by the “Science for Society” program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Its purpose is to analyze publication practices and principles of evaluation of legal sciences in order to develop a new model of evaluation of legal sciences.
