Directions and areas of research

The UO Institute of Legal Sciences conducts research in all classical legal sub-disciplines. The institute has chairs and research teams whose members publish in leading national and international journals. There is also research in the field of cultural heritage law conducted under the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Property Law, State-church and religious association relations, fundamental rights, as well as bankruptcy, excise and gambling law.
